John Donley graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2001. He then worked for the Kansas Beef Council for three years before attending law school. John attended Washburn University School of Law, graduating with Dean’s Honors in May 2007. During law school and after graduation, John worked for the Kansas Livestock Association as part of the Government Affairs Staff for over six years, serving as Assistant Counsel the last 4 years. While at KLA, John gained experience in conducting legislative and regulatory research, working with KLA members in addressing their legal concerns, developing policy and in applying client policy to the regulatory and legislative process.
In November of 2011, John Donley and Allie Devine formed Devine & Donley, LLC. As a partner in the firm with over twenty years of experience, John provides legal and government affairs services to meet the needs of his clients.
John lives in Ellsworth County with his wife, Vicky, and their four children.
