Dan Murray has over 20 years of experience in lobbying state legislative issues in Kansas. During this span, Murray has engaged in local and state lobbying, legislative and administrative branch monitoring; issue management, and professional association management. He has worked on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, trade and professional associations, health care groups, and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to his work with Devine & Donley, Murray also owns and operates his own lobbying firm, Murray Government Relations, and currently serves as the Kansas State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business.
Prior to his career in government relations, Dan held various leadership positions as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army. During his nearly six-year tenure, he earned his U.S. Army Airborne wings and Ranger tab and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dan graduated on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor of Science in American Politics from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point in 1998. He received his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Kansas in 2006, graduate with Honors.
